This is the very starter used to create our finished, living, small-batch compost, Forest Floor.

The dried, bagged mix includes:

• Bunny Manure, sourced from local bunny rescues. Also known as the cutest poop…think little jellybeans of goodness that are Nitrogen-rich, odor-free, dry, and ready to use. Why Rabbit? Go down the Rabbit Hole…

• Used Coffee Grounds & Chaff, air dried. Byproduct from local cafes and roasteries, which boosts microbial activity and are rich in nitrogen. It helps sustain high temperatures in compost piles, breaking down organic material and reducing potential pathogens.

• Feed-grade chopped hay, aids in aeration and adds slow-release carbon, phosphorus, and potassium elements.

• Compressed organic sawdust pellets contribute carbon, improve aeration, and enhance moisture retention and soil structure—while continuing to break down slowly in your soil, feeding microbes and supporting fungal networks as they grow.
